Lalunga wild-caught cold-smoked yellowfin is a beautiful red meat tuna with a clean texture and bold flavours. Mild smokey notes create a perfect product to eat as carpaccio, in a Poké bowl, as a light bite on crackers or in a simple salad. Each pack has been carefully hand-sliced, delicately assembled and is ready to serve for your convenience as irresistible, ready-to-eat delicacies.
Lalunga wild-caught, cold-smoked albacore is a non-fishy, white meat tuna with a golden amber colour and soft buttery texture which melts in your mouth with balanced, soft, smokey notes and leaves you wanting more. Ideal for salads, breakfast bagels and canapés.
Lalunga wild-caught, cold-smoked, pepper-crusted albacore tuna has a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture with a dusting of freshly crushed pepper. The flavour of fish is subtle, balanced and smokey and pairs perfectly with the peppery spice. If you enjoy pepper, then this is for you!
Lalunga wild-caught cold-smoked yellowtail is a lean, white meat fish with a firmer texture and light, delicate flavours. Their closest comparison to classic smoked salmon, yellowtail is ideal for fresh breakfast meals, light grain salads and pairs beautifully with creamed or cottage cheese.

Lalunga use a slow curing and smoking process spanning several days to create hand-crafted, melt-in-your-mouth cold smoked tuna and yellowtail. In the process, fish are carefully cured in a precise combination of salt and sugar before being slowly cold-smoked at temperatures below 5°C. All the smoked products are then sliced by hand, and are naturally free of hormones and antibiotics, artificial preservatives, colourants or irradiation.
Lalunga Seafoods is a small seafood company based in Cape Town which specialises in high quality, small batch value-added products, sourced from local and sustainable stocks. ABALOBI and Lalunga are working together to support small-scale fishers’ livelihoods, and ensure catch is traceable. Lalunga pride themselves in placing true value in the marine resources they utilise and sharing this value with the fishers who rely on them.
